Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp, a Canadian actor and actress, is famous for her roles as the main character in many television shows as well as for her impressive performances in films. The actress is well-known on Canadian as well as American television. Emily started acting when she was 12 when she was visiting her sister Katie in one of Katie's films. When she realized her love for acting she started taking acting classes, and then going for auditions. Her first audition was for a small amount of advertisements and then was cast in Are You Are You Afraid of The Dark, a Canadian horror series for children. which featured her in just one scene without any dialog. When she was fifteen, Emily made her big breakthrough when she was made regular on the WB Television program Glory Days. The show ended up being cancelled after nine episodes Emily's performance caught the eye of Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who enlisted her on his TV show Everwood. Emily was a professional dancer, and was also a photographer. Teen listed her as the number one actress in her 20s. In Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed Emily as the #51.
